After a close friend of mine was murdered, I looked deep into the core of who I am and narrowed down the number of things I wanted to accomplish. With the pandemic and a seven week furlough, I rediscovered my love for art through digital painting. When I was young, my mother loved to do arts and crafts. My grandparents did as well, but nothing my family ever crafted clicked with me the way drawing has. Art is a place of solace for me. The pandemic has also reminded me of how important it is to help others. It is time for me to overcome my depression, my fears, and win this fight.
My vision is to create art that gives the world a peaceful, healing rest from the chaotic seas of life and reminds them of the beauty that surrounds them.
